Course introduction
This course was introduced by the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) in October 2009. This training enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work.
On our courses we help people identify the risks in their workplace and consider the implications should an emergency occur. We also allow time to look at each student’s individual needs, concerns and issues.
Who it is for
For companies that have identified that First-Aiders are needed in the workplace. All First Aiders must have a valid certificate of competence in First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW). If you require help deciding whether your First Aiders need to be FAW or EFAW trained please contact us or click here for the HSE's FAQ’s.
